Ryan Welshans

Ryan was born in Brandon, Fl and adopted at 6 weeks of age and grew up in Lakeland, Fl. For many years he thought he was going to go to Hollywood and be a movie director having fallen in love with movie production during his school years and even winning many awards for his video creations. When Ryan was in high school he became connected with a small Presbyterian church where Ryan was saved and first accepted the Lord. It was a small build after that that led to a call to ministry and building a youth ministry at a larger Presbyterian church on the north side of Lakeland, Fl. After growing into the church’s first full time Youth Ministries Director, Ryan was called to Lake Gibson Church of the Nazarene (also in Lakeland) where he fell in love with the Nazarene church and Wesleyan theology. Over four years Ryan served as Youth Pastor, then was promoted to Family Ministries Pastor, and eventually led various ministry teams as the Associate Pastor. He is in the course of study for ordination and holds a district ministers license in the church of the Nazarene. Ryan loves spending time with his family, getting to know new people, exploring new cultures, and experiencing new adventures! He loves food, watcing movies, and movie making.
